TAKIN’ IT TO THE STREETS!

May 20th we will be Taking it to the Street by loving on our own community.

We will have a short service at 8:30 am.  and then we will be leaving the church to go out in the community to volunteer for the city parks department.  We will have jobs available for all ages.  The parks department will be coming up with a list of jobs for as many of us that will come out.  Please come out to GLOW with us.  Any questions, please contact Mindi Boggs at glow@defiancechristian.org. or stop by the GLOW table in the foyer.

Join DCC for 40 Days in the Word: a campaign designed to help you enjoy, understand, and live out the message of the Bible.  We’ll have weekly sermons, small group/Sunday School studies, daily devotions, and more.  It’s going to be a great time of growing and serving—all done together as a church family!

Make it a Family Affair!

Get your whole family involved.  Children, youth, and adults will all be moving through the same lessons each week.  Use this as a great time to move your family discussions to a deeper level!

In addition to the weekly sermons, Pastor Jim will be leading a class during Sunday School and on Wednesday nights (same material; just pick the time that’s best for you).  His class will be the real meat of this campaign where you discuss your daily devotions.  For this, you’ll need a workbook.
