We are not affiliated with any central denomination. The head of the Church has always been and always will be Jesus Christ. We are locally governed. The Church Leadership is selected from within the membership; we are your friends, neighbors and co-workers. We face the real life issues, failures and trials of this world just like you do, and we face them together. We support each other, encourage each other and bear each other’s burdens.
GOD: We believe there is only one eternal God, the creator of the entire universe. He exists in three persons: The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
JESUS: We believe Jesus Christ lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He rose from the dead and ascended into heaven. He will someday return to earth to judge both the living and the dead.
BIBLE: We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God, is without error, and is entirely relevant for daily living. The 66 books (Genesis – Revelation) represent the entire word of God. The New Testament offers a completely adequate guide for the church.
MAN: We believe man, created by God, willfully sinned and as a result is lost and without hope apart from receiving salvation through Jesus Christ.
ETERNITY: We believe all humans are destined to die once and then face judgment. All of humanity will spend its eternal existence either in Heaven with Christ or in Hell apart from God.
SALVATION: We believe salvation from sin comes from a right relationship with Jesus Christ. That relationship comes by grace through faith, produces repentance, and begins with the immersion of Christian baptism.
CHURCH: We believe the church is the corporate body of all who believe in the biblical Jesus Christ, and its mission is to prepare people to love God and each other.
COMMUNION: We believe the Lord instructed all believers to practice communion regularly in remembrance of his sacrifice. We take communion weekly and welcome all believers to join us.
RESPONSIBILITY: We believe all believers have the responsibility to worship God, share his love with others, study his word, fellowship with other believers, and support Christ’s church both in service and finances.
